Globus and Grid Administration on Linux

Grid computing is one of the most exciting recent developments in High-Performance and Networked computing. The Globus Toolkit is the most widely accepted and compatible method of implementing common Grid concepts. In general, Globus and Grid computing represent a broad range of concepts and tools that enable a similarly broad range of computing methodologies. This workshop will present these concepts and discuss the Globus tools used to implement them.

This workshop will be presented by the High Performance Computing Center at UNM over the Access Grid. The format is two, four hour sessions on two consecutive afternoons. Each session builds on the materials presented in the previous session(s). Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions.
