Introduction to NLADR

The National Laboratory for Advanced Data Research (NLADR) is a collaborative research and development activity in advanced data technologies between the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois and the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) at the University of California. This presentation will describe how NLADR is addressing the challenges facing research scientists in the areas of distributed data integration, search, collaborative exploration, mining, and visualization by the creation of a scalable infrastructure to support these data-driven capabilities.

This seminar will be presented live from both NCSA and SDSC and remotely via the Access Grid.

The Cyberinfrastructure Seminar Series is a set of presentations on cyberinfrastructure and related research organized by NCSA and SDSC. These seminars are available on site at the presenting institution and remotely via the Access Grid.
