NCSA-TeraGrid Data Transfer Resources

NCSA's involvement with the TeraGrid project has led to the deployment of a series of standard tools that facilitate the movement of data between participating TeraGrid sites. As of June 2006, all NCSA production clusters have a set of nodes dedicated to file transfer. These nodes run GridFTP servers and mount all of the shared file systems on each cluster including home directories, scratch and the parallel file systems. The dedicated GridFTP servers can be used to move data between NCSA systems, TeraGrid systems, to and from archive sites or to outside resources with valid grid certificates. See specific GridFTP transfer examples of how to use this capability. And for a complete list of available GridFTP resources and endpoints, see the GridFTP/RFT Server Deployment by Site listing.
